Twelve days of Christmas

Christmas

12    trips to the shops, Christmas shopping

11    visitors visiting – to shop and cook for

10    over excited children

9    hours writing Christmas cards

8    places to go, what to wear

7    presents still left to buy

6    bouts of painful indigestion

5    expectations of a wonderful Christmas, best meal of the year

4    supermarket visits, trolley rage & long queues at the check out

3    busy roads and engineering works

2    minutes of relaxation time, if you are lucky

1    very long list of things to do

For many people Christmas is a very busy time, and it can be really quite stressful.

This year the first signs of Christmas were evident in October. It’s not a twelve day sprint it can be more like a three month endurance marathon.

Everyone’s Twelve days of Christmas will be different, for some it’s a lonely time of year, some might be facing their first Christmas after the loss a loved one. We will all have our own mix of things to do, emotions to deal with and hopefully some good times ahead too.

Imagine instead….

12    feeling relaxed

11    enjoying some peace

10    having a relaxing massage

9    trying a new therapy

8    many different therapists to chose from

7    gentle breaths for relaxation

6   drifting gently into hypnosis, perhaps for the first time

5    experiencing a lovely oasis of calm

4    friendly and helpful reception team

3    ……re-orientating to the room around you

2    ……taking a deep refreshing breath of air

1 ……feeling alert and refreshed……ready to prepare for Christmas and enjoy this time of year

Yes it is possible.

I specialise in using hypnosis for relaxation, perfect for this time of year.

Talk to me about your Twelve days of Christmas, how are you feeling, what’s on your mind.  Time to talk with no interruptions.  You will then have the opportunity to relax in hypnosis. Time out, just for you. This could help you cope during the lead up to Christmas, and during December.

Step into the MindBody Therapy Centre in Forest Hill, London SE23, and feel your body relax as you do…..aromatherapy oils and healing vibes gently relax you as you step inside…..

Email me and let’s have a chat, we can discuss how I can help you.

Allow me to help you approach Christmas differently this year and enable you to look forward to it and focus on the positive aspects of it for you.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Apple app, listen once a day and it might keep the doctor away

If you come across something which actually is awesome, how do you describe it?

Double awesome, amazing, incredible, truly awesome..….I don’t know.  I sat next to the man responsible for developing this Apple app  last week.  I can’t rate it highly enough.

Clare K apples

This app teaches you to take yourself into self hypnosis, how cool is that. Not only that, but once you master self hypnosis you can then use it to motivate yourself to achieve your goals and deal with a range of other issues.

Learning self hypnosis using this Apple app is completely free of charge.

If you haven’t experienced hypnosis before and you aren’t familiar with the feeling of deep relaxation if brings, you might prefer to have a session or two of hypnosis with a hypnotherapist first to help guide you on your way.  If you wish to book an appointment with Patrick Browning, he works in central London.

Learning self hypnosis is free, other downloads are just £2.99 each.  Options include Relax into sleep, Headache relief, Nail biting and Motivation.

This wasn’t the first time I had met Patrick, I met him many years ago in Nottingham; I was working at Macmillan Cancer Support at the time.  He led a group hypnosis session at our Staff Conference.  It was so relaxing and beneficial I purchased one of Patrick’s CDs.  I have since trained as a hypnotherapist myself, to this day I still often listen to Patrick’s CD for an enhanced experience of self hypnosis.   So you can imagine how delighted I was to be reacquainted with him last week at a James Braid Society meeting  and after all these years I was able to tell him my story.

Patrick has played a key part in my journey, download this Apple app now and see where he takes you.

I would be really interested to hear how you get on. Share your journey with me.
